Congratulations, simple peasants! You've been randomly selected to work for Blizzard for a day. Your job is quite elementary, you are to design your own unique items. This involves naming them, and giving them whatever attributes you think they should have. You're allowed to be as crazy as you want with it. This is a mechanic in my game already. You can overcast spells. Or in other words, if you cast a spell that costs 50mana, and you only have 25, it takes the 25 mana, then dips into your health, but costs x2 of the overflow. This is dealt in straight percentile damage, and cannot be reduced or resisted. I got the idea from Eragon, where he casts the healing spell to heal his dragon at the end of the movie, but it's too strong of a spell and he nearly kills himself because it takes his lifeforce instead.
And a runeword:

+0-3 to all skills
+1-80 to all resistances
+1-20 to all attributes
+1-15% life leech
Damage reduced by 0-15%
+1-150% Magic Find Chance
+1-800% Gold from monsters
That would be really unbalanced but think about that god perfect roll and how lucky you'd have to be xD

Odds for that are astronomical. I think the math for that is multiplicative. If so that's a 1 in 129,600,000,000 chance to roll a perfect. I probably got that wrong. Might just be 1 in 1,084. Haven't done just straight roll calculations like that in awhile.Peacku wrote: 2 years ago And a runeword:

20% increased attack speed
+30 all resistances
level 10 might aura when equipped
whenever a trap is laid, creates a vortex that pulls enemies into the trap, they dissappear for 5 seconds inside the trap, and reappear dead or with health remaining.
+60% magic find if enemy is killed inside trap
i think the sight of it would be great haha
