What about other changes, like Manald or Tyrael’s Might in the future ? Should we have 2 separate pages for each version, or just stick with the RotW database?
I can just append 'in RotW' to the individual modifiers to make that clearer, NP.
@ShadowHeart @Norman I've made some changes to hopefully make everything clearer.
Runewords that were made available to craft in Non-ladder on RotW (but remain Ladder-only on LoD) now have two reinforcing lines at the bottom of the tooltip:
Still ladder only in LoD
Can be made in Non-Ladder on RotW
Unique and Set items with changed stats which had either (Non-ladder only) or (Ladder only) at the end of the modifier being considered now have in RotW added to them, and read as, for example, (Non-ladder only in RotW) or (Ladder-only in RotW).
Ok I just exported a near-perfect demon lancer setup, including pre-buff and played through p7 Chaos tz to see how it can do under the new patch.
It's good. It's not great though. Plenty of things are faster. So I think it got nerfed from strongest warlock build to no longer strongest. Given how hard it is to gear, and how hard the demon is to find, and what happens if you die... I have a hard time seeing myself playing it.

That is a bummer. Especially since I'm 100% committed to Bound Demon build (+secondary build e.g., Abyss).
Mind sharing your build/gearing for the simulation? Also demon specs including level and affixes?

Well, if it's any consolation, as far as I can tell, chains might actually be fixed for the most part. I just absolutely folded a T5 Herald with nothing but chains. Now demon builds will be more for running interference and less for dealing damage especially since chains passes right through your crew now. My rainbow devil from Uber Tristram just got much more effective for my build.

Super lame they nerfed this. Was it really the strongest build? Even the whole "one shots Andariel" thing.. fire warlock one shots her with a single apoc also. And if it was the strongest build, I doubt it needed a full 2/3 nerfing, like take it down 25-40% instead.
I never tried it though, in part because I like having something to do. Walking around letting my demon kill everything while I do nothing, or cast otherwise negligible / unneeded support spells, doesn't seem super fun to me.
You can just export it from there and try it out. There's a prebuff build and a "damage" build. These are not mine, they were developed by someone else I talk to on discord.

I just exported the maxroll magic find version of Abyss+chains and holy crap is this broken OP. Why on earth would they nerf Bind Demon when this thing is out here being the old Echoing Strike.

Now that they fixed chains, this is my go-to. It kills so fast. Note: I play a primarily Bind Demon build (20 Demonic Mastery, 20 Bind Demon, 34 soft points in Bind Demon). But I also have a sully synergized Abyss/Chains (except for that Entropy one). I swap out my demon gear after starting a game and run full Chaos == fully buffed Demon + fully buffed Miasma.
My first impressions from playing an hour post patch:
1. Definitely seeing more exciting drops from Harold, even if he only wants to give me set rings that start with a C.
2. Shards still dropping at a decent rate.
3. No idea with statues. Only managed to get Baal once and nada
4. Bind Demon: yes, I notice that my super stabby girl is not one-shotting everything. However, she is doing fine in my opinion, and that is without Cursed because mine is currently not cursed. Mixing a buffed demon with a support build like Miasma or Bowlock should be a really nice build, still. Going "pure" demon might be a bit slower though, but not Druid slow or anything. Overall, happy to have more of a challenge. Some Harolds remain dangerous, so still gotta be on your toes. But you still generally feel safe while clearing well. Haven't tried Ubers yet, but I imagine it will continue to be a reliance on tougher demons and killing them with your own spells like Miasma Chains or Mirrored Blades. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
What about drop rates for shards and statues? Do we know the exact values?
Not yet, but I just did a few quick TZ Chaos runs (only Seal popping and BigD, I suspect ca. 20-25 runs).
Results: 2x Essence, 2x Statue, 2x Shard
At least for TZ runs this seems to me not very different from before the patch...

The changes apply to the items retrospectively? Or just for the new drops. Coz I tested it Offline, and the items are still the same. Either it works for the new drops OR it doesn't work for Offline, which is unusual, and a bummer.

In the past when Blizzard has altered an item with a patch, existing items have never been retroactively changed. A long long time ago a lot of elite uniques were nerfed but everyone who still had the original ones were sitting on something really valuable (as it couldn’t drop anymore), that would eventually become a true rarity, eventually just a Myth.
No idea what’s going on with offline though. It’s not unlikely it’s locked to online ladder for now. They have kept stuff away from offline before too (then moved over to offline same time as it became available on non-ladder), but they haven’t been consistent.

@Pavke has checked the game files and patch 3.3 increased the rarity of Gheed's Fortune from 1 to 15. So, before, all unique grand charms had rarity = 1 meaning equal chance of dropping, meaning 1/7 unique grand charms were Gheed's, 6/7 were sunders. Starting with patch 3.3, 15/21 unique grand charms will be Gheed's, 6/21 will be sunders (evenly distributed).
(this is for drops via the regular drop tables where MF matters, not the specific Herald drops)

Do you mean this sarcastically?
Sunders are rarer from 6/7 to 6/21, so the chance to get a sunder was reduced from 85.71% to 28.57. So they are 1/3 rarer than before when considering MF.
I think for a ladder season this is not good news. So many build rely on a sunder. Next season might look like the first RotW, probably not that extreme, but sunders will definitely be rarer and more expensive,
