Chains seems to be fixed from the not attaching to your crew standpoint and they also seem much more effective, almost like they addressed the zero damage issue. Can anyone else confirm?

If the fix is good, then chain locks should be able to handle Ubers much easier from now on.
Yeah, that's correct, I guess, the patch notes do say so (emphasis mine);

What worries me is that we now have 2 versions of the same items — the X version and the RotW version. I’m wondering how this split will affect our beloved site’s database.

But not in LoD. They're still ladder-only in LoD. I've verified personally with Cure (turned into a gemmed Helm in LoD non-ladder). SPOILER

Yeah I mean I thought that was clear in the patch notes - these changes apply to RotW, not Resurrected LoD. You think I need to introduce a new filter 'Ladder-only (only in LoD)' or something like that? Or 'Still ladder-only in LoD'?
@ShadowHeart @Norman I've made some changes to hopefully make everything clearer.
Runewords that were made available to craft in Non-ladder on RotW (but remain Ladder-only on LoD) now have two reinforcing lines at the bottom of the tooltip:
Still ladder only in LoD
Can be made in Non-Ladder on RotW
Unique and Set items with changed stats which had either (Non-ladder only) or (Ladder only) at the end of the modifier being considered now have in RotW added to them, and read as, for example, (Non-ladder only in RotW) or (Ladder-only in RotW).
