So...soft points will work in the same way that hard points currently work, meaning the actual effects would still basically Cap at 20 total, making it a 1pt wonder skill?
Or soft points will work on top of hard points, effectively removing the 20 Cap and giving it an ever increasing effect for mad radius + duration?
And why "instead of", rather than "in addition to"?! Just bad phrasing or making hard pts useless? ^^

My understanding would be no. 1. Soft points work, too (that's for sure) and I guess the limit is still 20. If there was no limit, this would mean a significant buff to Abyss.
They nerfed every other build MORE than Echoing Strike. Wtf?
Even though this reduces the insane 200k ES builds. Its still going to be the most damage. Which is fine. But why does fire build need nerfed? Full Summon build is nerfed?! Lmao.
I think i was the only one who used that build, bc while it "worked", it was slower than anything else.
Anyway, I'm positively surprised, actually shocked, how swiftly Blizz decided to nerf Warlock. It took them 3 years to fix Mosaic, and they didn't touch other OP builds at all.
This outcome should not surprise anyone, Blizz used this ladder season like a playground to see the potential of the new character and how to adjust his power to be align with the other classes. This is normal on the game industry and i don't see anything wrong with the approach.

When you launch the game on the PTR you will only have the template characters. You have the option of using the template characters or creating new characters. You can't use your existing live realm characters. PTR is completely separated.

Based on the last one, you can copy over your offline chars though to see what impact it really has on proper builds, rather than their random test stuff.
