The Secret Cow Level, also known as the Moo Moo Farm, is accessed via a
Portal to the Secret Cow Level, which may be crafted after completing the game on the current difficulty and obtaining the ingredients for
Recipe: Portal to the Secret Cow Level

It contains masses of
Hell Bovine, led by
The Cow King. As there is a large quantity of enemies to be found here, it is often farmed for base items and rune drops.

It is the only place in the game where you can farm the Cow King's Leathers set.

Number of elite pack spawns:
Normal: 0 - 1
Nightmare: 3 - 4
Hell: 6 - 8

As of Diablo 2: Resurrected, killing
The Cow King will no longer lock players out of
The Secret Cow Level for that difficulty, meaning players can now effectively farm
The Cow King for his set armor, and other items, without fear or the hassle of being locked out.

Just did cows by my self and Emilio (merc) for the 1st time with a (messy build) Hammerdin lvl 88

I'm happy like I when a won World Cup (or Super Bowl) but leave it with one
Ruby* and one
Sapphire* due to crap MF in order to bost FCR, res and defense. It was the first of hundreds at least.

Now I'm on my way to buy some fireworks

Excelent farming spot of runes and bases due to high density of monsters. But beware, not all bases drops in cow level, except when is terrorized.

Excellent for levelling and xp especially in hell difficulty, spins you right up to that 65-68ish lvl (just before acquiring
Annihilus), but of course with much needed help from friends, you get the leg and somebody creates portal XD
