Can be used to make Runewords:
Note that in Legacy Diablo 2 (not Resurrected); if you or anyone in your party kills The Cow King, you can't open a Portal to the Secret Cow Level for that difficulty.
The area this portal grants access to is also known as the Moo Moo Farm.
You need to have completed Baal quest in act 5 in the difficulty you want to open The Secret Cow Level
Spoiler Alert: The cows inside the portal are not of the friendly variety 
Wirt's Leg used in the recipe has to be from the same difficulty level. For example you can't open the portal in Normal difficulty using a leg acquired in Nightmare.
Contrary to wide-spread superstition, the amount of scrolls in the Tome of Town Portal has no effect on the drops in The Secret Cow Level.
