Can be used to make Runewords:
?
Sounds like something a serial killer would say lol. Where the heck did this come from?
I didnt bother watching the videos in the nm serial killer is on the loose topic, the dude just joins random games and kills unsuspecting players without good gear? wow what a pvper. (This is what I assume happens in those videos)
Such action is proper tiny d-ck action. Some c-nt tried that stuff on me at SOFTCORE once and regretted it instantly, but not always players have good / decent gear to fight back and often times it kind of comes out of the blue as someone teleports into you and boom youre already dead.
Lol, I did not know this was a thing people do in hardcore mode. That's a concerning thing to get satisfaction from if I'm being honest lol.
That's a lvl 14 paladin doing PK in NM HC game.
PK is part of the game.

Alrighty. If character is built for pvp its most likely a lot of dmg it can output in a short period of time. But I mean the hunting random players just for fun while they try to play and progress forward is just sad and I dont call these people pkers. Thats not proper pvp.
It is not PVP, it's PKing, thats the point.
One might not like it, but it has always been part of the game.
And it used to be so much worse, I think in 1.09.

A lot of things in historical society were considered acceptable, but today are morally bankrupt. Should we blindly continue to accept things just because "we've always done it this way"?
I'm willing to accept other forms of currency. Like Tokens, Keys, Perfect Gems, and certain minor runes in lieu of my asking price. I'm also willing to accept rune combinations that add up to my asking price.
I've long felt that Blizzard should've added a PK opt-out button for those who would rather not be unwittingly selected for someone else's personal entertainment. Most of those engaged in PK usually jump into multiplayer games and then attack an unaware player, who amid the confusion might've missed the hostile message. In my view a degree of a player's online behavior is reflective of their offline behavior.
I think it's fine, even as i am playing hardcore right now. I joim my own game, which is safe unless someone from my friend list decides to hunt me. And if I make or join a lobby I WILL expect at any point of time random hostility. It makes it feel even more real life like. Like imagine: You are alone in hell during medieval times, wearing expensive stuff and lots of Gold. Noone will know what happened to you, they will think the monsters killed you...
OP
does pc have 8 players?
Yes, I think only switch has 4.
That's just a pisspoor excuse for being an asshole. And then being enough of a sociopath to think its funny.Tornado_OLO wrote: 3 months agoThat's a lvl 14 paladin doing PK in NM HC game.
PK is part of the game.
Guess why lots of people don't play open games.
You want to PK, go make games specifically for it and leave everyone else alone.
I play on the HC Ladder US East. Check out my ladder characters (at the bottom).
Just the other day a Mosaic assassin kept running around in Hell games partying up, then going aggressive.
I of course was taunting them cause my character was 'Invulnerable'. Anyways, other than the lost of my first CTA, at this point in playing HC ladder I expect it all. Until you do, you wont ever achieve high level characters. It can be really upsetting to lose someone, but it makes every drop and upgrade that much sweeter. I personally do not get upset, I was literally asking for the dude to come find me. He did
If you like leveling characters and you're only kinda good like me then HC is amazing.
As everyone has said, PK and PVP are not the same thing. Ol dude wanted to meet outside the gate after agresssive in a pub pvm game. They do not want to PVP with you, they want your sweet little Ear.
I had fun though. I joined back in and the HC community is amazing. One guy in game dropped a 5os Phase Blade for me for free cause he was cool like that. Don't let the turds disrupt you. It is unfortunate that with such a small community they might chase new players out, but there are 100 more people that just want to level with you.
I'll play with anyone at anytime if I am on. And there are easily people that would love to teach you to pvp. More peeps to squish.

Didnt even bother responding to the previous guy as I had nothing nice to say.
Play in private games, with passwords. Boom, no PK whatsoever
What's the problem with PK ?FULCRUM75 wrote: 3 months agoYou want to PK, go make games specifically for it and leave everyone else alone.
Is it because HC so you can lose your char ?
Or because you don't want to be bothered during your game ?
I never did any form of PK, but I also never carred much about it.
I don't play HC so I have my choice : trying to kill him or leave.
As explained before, some people playing HC love the adrenaline JC gives and, imo, PK is part of this.
And yes, private will prevent you from the risk.

IMO, people's desire to harass other people does not out-weight other people's desire to be left alone. I used to play HC back in the day, and would get quite upset when I was struggling to progress in a level and someone comes in and goes hostile. In HC you sometimes need to advance quite slowly and moving from one WP to another can take forever. All that work and effort wasted because I need to dip out. I used to really enjoy HC. A Death by a monster, is a failure of my own skill. Death by PK is just...lame. Feels like school yard bullying by those who peaked in highschool.Tornado_OLO wrote: 3 months agoAs explained before, some people playing HC love the adrenaline JC gives and, imo, PK is part of this.
This is a bit like telling a person to not go outside at night because there is a risk of them getting mugged. Instead of telling that person to feel trapped in their own home and not saying anything to the muggers, how about we tell the muggers to fuck off? And yes, you can stop them by making private games, but then you lose the community feeling of banding together and making new friends.
Look, its obvious I don't approve of PK. However, I'm not a complete muppet and I'm aware that Blizzard North designed PK to be a part of the game. I can accept that. It is just a game after all. Where I really draw the line is people who use unfair tactics to PK. Specifically camping at Town Portals, Way Points, tricking a new player into a trap, or the old de-syncing exploits from LoD days.
For those who hate PK as much as I do, here is a nice revenge video (its only about 2min long) but very satisfying.

So, i have to lose out on playing with the friendly community because there are SOME few people that are pieces of shit?
Yeah, how about hell no? They want Pvp, they go to Pvp games and do not bother anyone else. End of story, anything else is just cowardly bullies.
Back in the days of original D2X, i kept 2 people on friendlist who were professional bounty hunters.
Anyone try to PK in a game i was in, i sent them a message with a bounty on the names of the PKers.
The PKers never survived. Some of them even whined about how unfair it was to get slamdunked by a couple of level 99s.
So, apparently not fun anymore when they're the ones getting whacked, my my, how pathetic indeed.
And if PKers ever get too annoying in D2R? I will merrily restart the old D2X hunterkiller guild that hunted down PKers in groups.
Lets see how much they like it 7 to 1. Or in other words, exactly what they deserve for annoying those of us who wants to play the game in a friendly manner together with other people without being pestered by cowards and bullies.
