I'd suggest putting Shael and using Magefist (which will also help with Charge if you are using that for moving around, like I often do) since their +1 to fire skills does apply to Holy Fire.

I'm going to be the odd one out here and suggest a Nef rune for knockback. Not the best option by any means, but it's an option.
But, in the end, would probably be better get Knockback from a Hit Power Gloves and socket another thing on the weapon.

Gotta go with what you have. Nef is definitely easier to roll and there are a few gloves I personally like. (Keeping in mind I'm coming from a sorceresses perspective on Demon Machine).
I'm looking at it from a convenience point of view myself. I have a couple demon machines lying around. I end up using the one with Shael n it most. Though I am pretty sure it isn't doing anything at all.
