Level a character to 39, have another character with Wealth etc to do nightmare Andariel runs and gather cash.
Dump all the Gold you gather to the 39 lvl character to gamble with vendors.

easier way if you trade is do countress in lod , collect low runes to Ist , use Ist buy soj

But thats what I am doing, high MF NM Andariel runs, thats producing shitloads of Gold on the way.
So was thinking, whats the best way to use the Gold for gambling, if I was to do so for a ring like Stone of jordan that is not of high lvl.
Transfer the Gold to a low lvl character first or is there a more efficient way to do it?
Best range to gamble rings is lvl 80-83 imho. Magic ones are craft material, rare ones have good odds of getting useful affixes, and you only lower the odds of getting a SoJ because you can get other uniques (like BK) as well. If you do that, your chance of getting SoJ off Andy is probably hundreds of times higher than your chance of gambling one.
