I still think there's some kind of hidden algorithm that encourages you to play more after you've taken a really long break.
My Pattern is 100 % consistent with this; no luck, nowhere, no matter what I'm doing. So I take a big break from the game. When I finally come back, literally the very first day I get good drops.
I was playing TL1, TL1, GD, etc. Finally started playing this game last night for the first time in a while, and I got my first Arachnid Mesh and my first Ber rune on the same session.

You do nothing wrong. My last 100 P7 Cow level runs resulted in Ko as the highest rune, which is even sadder, because i've killed like 100 000 cows within these 100 runs and didn't get a single HR. Instead i've found dozens of Tal, Ort, Ith or Sol runes.
Just RNG is rough most of the time.
By the way i did today 30 Travi runs and these are the best runes i found haha...
well Jah, 2 x Ohm and now a Cham in a bit less that 2.5 days of playing cumulated, I now feel thanksfull to RNG gods!

Yea, RNG. Month ago i've started diablo just to check how its going with patches. Opened one game - cow level with Ama and with the first few cows there's Sur rune.
Pure coincidence. Though I remember that in D2LOD it was best to farm when server was almost empty. Dunno. From 3am to 5-6am drops were unreal even on P1.

Im on SSD and it takes around 13 sec to launch game ! making me wait longer than play the game !

I think loading assets is a client side thing. Kill background processes and upgrade components if you can.
