There does not seem to be any system in place for notifying users when a Forum post they have created get's replied to, other than manually remembering to watch/bookmark said threads.
Perhaps having it so that every forum thread you create is automatically set to be watched/bookmarked by the creator would be beneficial?

I can, perhaps, find a way of adding it as a preference, rather than a default, to keep people happy.
How funny. I think adding a preference toggle along with the other notification settings seems ideal then.

I was actually about to post a thread with this exact issue. . Also one more tiny thing, when i click on a reply from someone in my notifications it doesn't immediately go to their comment, it just goes to the top of the OP. I know its suuper tiny but once threads start getting big it'll be a lot nicer when responding to replies.
