Love the reporting and minute by minute updating and commentary on this site about the blizzcon. Just feels like the same energy as you get from reporting on the Olympic Games, the Super Bowl, or Champions League football finals. Go team! Go community.

I provide my bnet details after I have accepted your offer/ you accept mine.

Flexible but mostly trade is UTC+1 evenings. Note timezone differences: several hours ahead of US / behind Asia. Prompt but don't expect instant. This ain't Traderie.

Can anyone explain to me why in all seven hells we are supposed to need a third installment of the same old World of Warcraft?
Cause Blizzard likes money and the cash cow ain't dead yet.

Playing HC SSF right now.

Hell completed: Sorc, Druid, Paladin, Ama, Assa, Necro, Barb
Iron Man (Paladin): Nightmare A1

It's all about money. They can get a different subscription out of wow forever than their current one.

I think one of the biggest concerns I have about diablo is that they have segmented their player base at MINIMUM into 3 different groups.

- D1 and D2
- Immortal
- D3 and D4

There is no way that they are going to be able to satisfy everyone as those 3 are very different games for different people.

I think that they have some good ideas (specifically talking about having Diablo conquering), but I worry that It's going to be trying to get the D3 and D4 players and the POE/Last Epoch etc type of players. Not D2/D1.

It's the same subscription according to my Bnet launcher.

The WoW community have been asking for WoW Classic+ for years - Blizz have shown up for them big time with WoW: Forever. There's a lot of excitement for it - probably the best thing to come out of Blizzcon.

Ah okay.

Whats the plan with classic then? Just continue working their way toward modern?

Yeah it's already on Panda, who knows if it goes any further. Personally I don't care much for anything after Wrath of the Lich King...

This. Classic by definition is pre-Cata, with the old world (and some restrict it even more, to be synonymous with vanilla). The current "Classic" is nothing but a cash cow re-release.

Speaking of Forever, we'll see how will it turn out. Won't there be RMT spam and botters everywhere?

It is a bit of a weird approach though. And has been from day one.

"Yo, you kinda ruined WoW. Give us classic so we can play the fun version again!"
"You don't want that, you just think you do, f off!"
"Wut? BOOO!!!"
"Ok, fine, here's classic. Now shut up!"
"Yay! Classic!"
"Oh, did we mention it'll only be classic for a limited amount of time and we'll turn it into the same thing you told us you don't want anymore so you can go right back to begging us for classic in a couple years? Enjoy!"
"The fuck?! GIB CLASSIC!"
"Ok, fine, here, have another classic WoW. We'll call it 'forever' for some daft misleading reason before we'll then incrementally also turn that something else but different from the previous ones. That'll shut you up for another couple years before we have to announce WoW:Infinity or some shit to address your next call for classic."
"Yay!...I think..."

What if they hosted realms for each expansion instead, without all that pointless re-releases, and with each new expansion gave us a choice: either stay at the current expansion, or progress to the next one, like they did with the (progressive) Classic and Era?
Sure, it's 12 (soon 13) versions, also multiplied by SC/HC PvM/PvP normal/RP distinctions (and also multiple regions for better ping), but still seems feasible, given that they already keep dozens of dead realms online.

Actually, this is a MAJOR thing. HotS was supposedly in maintenance mode since 2022 (read: dead). So there is a chance for D1 and D3 to receive some updates one day!
