Ist runes are most traded runes in the game and therefore the highest liquidity asset you can own. They are the no.1 item used in exchanges for other items and will often be exchanged in bulk volume for highly sought after items.

The Forgotten Tower have increased rune drop probability as well.

If you are willing to make trades, it is easier to keep gems, mid/low runes, and bases that you found and trade them for
Ist, than trying/hoping to actually drop a
Ist during a game😉
