Mercenary Attack Speed

How do you know what the breakpoints are for A2 might merc? I’m using reaper toll with Shael, should I get some ias jewels for armor and Helm? Currently using Eth Guardian Angel and Eth Kira’s to keep him alive during trav runs on my barb.

Thresher/GT can sometimes be slightly (1 step) faster than gpa for merc jabbin - with this setups (Infinity/Obedience example):

1) IAS-ed Andy Mask + Fortitude (35% ias);
2) Non-IAS headgear + Treachery (45% ias);
3) Treachery + Andy Mask with IAS (80% ias);
4) No IAS on your merc.

Two exceptions here:
1) 20% IAS (Fortitude + Andy Mask);
2) 65% IAS (Treachery + Andy Mask).
Here, fpa is equal for threshers and gpa - so the latter wins a small bit with higher and more consistent damage - and dps as well.

Overall conclusion:
To benefit from threshers speed the most, your merc's Andy Mask MUST be iased. If it isn't - gpa proves better bc of higher damage and better consistency. This is how just 1 jewel of fervor decides which base is better for your merc's runic weapon.

Why Grand Matron Bow is not listed on that IAS calculator? I wanted to do some math with upgraded Lycander's Aim.

Whatever I've used any other bow with 10 IAS and then added the 20 IAS from Lycander's Aim.

You need to first select the proper class for the weapon to appear in the list when it's class-specific.

Is that website up to date with resurrected? I've used it plenty of times in LoD. the rogues can't use Amazon bows in classic.

Lycander's Aim is a Ceremonial Bow with a modifier speed of 10

So according to this chart, these will be your breakpoints. (in the 10WSM table)
Edit: Grand Matron Bow == Ceremonial Bow .

This ias calculator seems to be more up to date.

Interesting the GMB is listed, only missing is a manual IAS input box so we can enter the 20 from Lycanders and any extra IAS from items but we can do the maths and look at table.

Interesting but I don't have that Helm, I currently use cold girl with Nightwing and Treachery and she is doing great but plan it to get 2 x 15 IAS jewel with ED if I can find and replace Treachery for a +2 skills armor. From my calc 30 IAS will bring her to same 11fpa just like when wearing Treachery but she will lose occasional Fade and extra poison damage for the +2 skills which will bring her to lvl 17 Freezing Arrow and an impressive level 37 Cold Arrow (she is lvl91 now).
