Description

What’s the lowest you got a strong build into hell?
I’m thinking a summon necro could survive.

Probably pally and barb too.

What level did you get your build on hell solo that was pretty low?

I’d say around 60 hell is low.

I always Normal
Baal
from 25 to 45 then Nightmare
Baal
from 45 to 75 before entering Hell. I'd say at least high 60s to 70 minimum.

Without the
Baal
run bots from OG D2 Hell
Baal
runs seem to end in disaster a lot or are just harder to find in general. lol

I pretty much always host and run my own pub
Baal
games because of this xD

Yeah. So low 60s are also too tough even for strong builds then?

goodluck, and may the RNG god be with you.

I've entered Hell on lvl 63 with my summon necro, it was 'doable' as long as I was far enough away not to get hit.

The -18 fire ress and -28 lightning ress wasn't fun at all :p

But farmed my butt to lvl 65 to complete my set and get enough ress to run Hell :)

What CapNCook said, i also just entered Hell with my Fishymancer at around 65 since its just so effortless to play him lol. With max CE you can explode a corpse on the other side of the screen and wipe everything. I don't think some people realize the radius on a lvl 30 CE is over twice the size of the druids
Hurricane
. :O

What on earth are you talking about? It’s barely 10 yards on level 20!

I’d love to see a vid demoing this

10 yards is still over 1.5x the size of the druids
Hurricane
, which is only 6y lol. So still very huge radius. And i said lvl 30 :P. Very easy to get +9-10 skills for a necro.

magi? you don't mean skeletal mages do you? You always put only 1 pt into mages because even at max level they are complete trash and a waste of bodies. Insta-die in hell and weak dmg. 100% max CE instead, you'll use it in every necro build. Wither its Bone, psn or summon. its just too OP not to. lol :D

Hmm. Yeah I’m on act5 NM. Still survivable. I guess when I finish that I’ll respec to max CE.
I really like having an army of ranged and melee. Reminds me of Starcraft Warcraft armies.

Honestly i do too. It feels more like a real army. But thats why you pump
Revive
after you max
Skeleton
/CE/Mastery and some into
Clay Golem
to slow bosses.
Decrepify
+
Clay Golem
and bosses won't be able to move. You'll have a massive army with better dmg/life. Sucks that revives are temporary, but they are way more powerful than your skellies lol. Especially once you get a A2 Might Merc in nightmare. And always use a Staff with
Teleport
charges to re-position summons and your dumbass merc. xD

My set-up currently at lvl 68:
Gear art should be pretty obvious what im wearing besides jewelry
+2 MF rings. lol

We kinda have the same build, But I play
Poison Nova
over
Corpse Explosion
(just personal preference)
And you have 28/28 skelly/mastery, where I have 31/32.

That amulet tho, JUICY, I need that :p I'll trade you 2 pgems (Kappa)

And the mage's are always dog kaka, I have had a build with lvl 34 mage, 30
Summon Resist
and 33
Skeleton Mastery
, still they died real fast :p

Also it seems that in D2R compared to oldskool, anything 30+ level in skills, just goes bezerk, I have 32 firewall and 36 fmastery on my mage, and it just nukes everything, doesn't matter if they are imume to fire, they just burn

You mean it breaks immune?? That doesn’t sound right. Maybe you’re using something that lowers resist in your gear?

Yea
Lower Resist
will break most fire immunes. Otherwise dmg is irrelevant if the monster is immune it takes 0 dmg from that source.

thats why i love
Decrepify
. Not only slows but breaks Physical Immune monsters like amp dmg. Then soon as one dies you CE and they all go poof since CE is physical + fire dmg. xD

As I understood it CE is also magic damage. Can’t verify though. I’ll be smarter on later acts :(

CE is physical + fire. 50/50. No magic dmg.

"
Corpse Explosion
does 50% Physical damage and 50% Fire damage"

so immune physical and fire should be 0 damage then? did you try it yet?

That's why you do
Decrepify
or
Amplify Damage
. it breaks physical immunes just like
Lower Resist
breaks elemental immunes. :D

As far as I am aware, the masteries are broken on sorc's, as MrLlamaSC pointed out on his Frost sorc, he can blast trough imunities because mastery seems to be broken in D2R.

Same goes for fire, I play solo on my sorc, and I know for sure that I don't run anything that breaks immunities, as I don't have the highest gear on my merc or myself :p

(This is still on nightmare tho)
