First time running Ubers and...

It wasn't that bad! Shout out to the other Pally who was with me, HamsterX, top-tier Pally. So he asks me if I've done ubers, I said not yet but I want to. He just randomly makes all the portals to Lilith, Uber Izzy and Uber Duriel. We easily mop up and collect the organs. He makes the Uber Tristram portal and says he will draw Meph away so we can both fight him and not the others. He does this, and we proceed with what most people seem to think is the hardest member of the ubers. His lightning isn't great, but we manage. For reference, we are both Zeal/ Smite pallys. We take him down and then I begin hammering on Baal while he fights D. Baal was quite tough and if we didn't have the gear we had, we'd not have had such an easy time. Baal and D stood no chance in the end, far easier than Meph from what it seemed like but no pushover. I was proud to obtain my very first Standard of Heroes. The other pally said if the torch wasn't an Assassin torch, I could have it. It turned out to be a decent Sorc torch. I know the other pally had very good gear, but here is the gear and skills I used:

Guillaume's Face - upgraded to Spired Helm and socketed w/15% IAS/9% ED jewel
Guardian Angel - upgraded to Hellforge Plate and socketed w/ Um
Grief Phase Blade
Herald Of Zakarum - upgraded to Zakarum Shield and socketed w/P Diamond
Verdungo's Hearty Cord
Highlord's Wrath
Raven Frost
Blood Circle crafted ring - +115 to AR, 11% Life Steal, +2 STR, +30 Life, +34 Mana
Gore Rider - upgraded to Myrmidon Greaves, 192 Def
Dracul's Grasp

Primarily using Holy Shield, Zeal, Fanaticism.

That was a very fun time and I hope to uber again. I would definitely recommend bringing a paladin or 2, as they might be the single best class for this task.
