Sur Rune at Countess

Hi Guys,

I really do not know how this could happen. But

The Countess in Hell just dropped me a

Sur-rune.
How is this possible.
I thought

The Countess is only able to drop up to

Lo-rune.
I did not even know that

Sur-rune can be found in act1 hell?

What are the facts here?

Sur from Tower mobs - they are several lvls above, and can spit it out. Here - you got that HR lucky strike everybody is after

Lo rune like the first 2 weeks of release xD
This was back when mini-maps would overlay each other from previous games at the time so it was a nightmare finding the way down to level 5 sometimes hahaa.

Just yesterday

The Countess dropped me a tgod's at a 1:11880 chance. Yet I've never gotten anything better than a single

Um from her rune drops.

Sur rune within the tower from one of those devilkins. Now I kill them as well, since you never know

Arcane Sanctuary. Sat there scratching my head for a few minutes

I think she has two separate loot tables - one for normal item drops, another for rune drops. She drops items from both buckets, which is why she always (nearly always?) drops runes. And the rune bucket is capped at something fairly low, but her normal item drop can probably drop any rune at roughly the same rate as any other random mob. Or something along those lines. Maybe the

Sur dropped from some of the trash around her, but... effectively the same outcome.
