Description
When a player dies in PvP combat they drop an Ear. The item sells for 1 gold and has little practical use. It normally serves as a trophy for having killed someone, but is also used in HC to identify that death resulted from PvP.

Contrary to common playground wisdom, there is no way to convert one or more Ears into a String of Ears.
