Description

The Base page for example is too large and I know that my CPU is now considered obsolete (i7-6700k) according to Microsoft but it would still be nice to have a more snappy experience. 😋

Edit: the contributions page is absurdly big.

Yes the contributions page is insane to load on my mobile.

The contributions page can easily be fixed by pagination so don’t worry about that one.

However with category pages like Base, I don’t think you guys realise what I’ve had to go through to get it to be like it is now  It’s as fast as it can get for 500 items - I can’t do much past a certain point. Maybe some small optimisations but like there’s really not a lot I can do about old mobile devices and computers with low Memory or old browsers…

The only thought with base page is to have a filter on by default (like normal/exceptional/elite) which sits at the top and is activated. That way it's immediately cut down to a third of the size.

Something I hadn’t considered actually but I think that’d cause more complaints than the former issue.

you could just have it show no items until you either select the item types you want to look at, or you match items in your search bar. i think the utility bar should be showing by default. then after selecting utility you get the item type bar.

Not an option again, this will make the site appear empty to most crawlers. But thanks again for considering the issue Udyret

As a religious user of

, having base items separated by difficulty normal/exceptional/elite seems very reasonable and usable. I get that it is nice for crawlers to have a full page of data, but you also want to have it maybe slightly more presentable to users when they land on that page. Just a thought, if it becomes more of an issue for people.
