Can be used to make Runewords:
Where your argument here about Obsession falls apart is the fact that there aren't very many 0 Light Resistant targets in Diablo 2 and 70-75% of the enemies have 30% LR or higher. This is where Mang Song's takes over in damage. Feel free to check the excel
I never cared what build you wanted to run. I said Mang's had performance over Infinity and that was it. Please leave me out of 'You should run X' BS because I never had interest in what you do personally.vued wrote: 3 weeks agoBut as @mikelessar says: You do you, I do me. If you are happy and I am happy, we can run different builds, right?![]()
Careful now, please, we as a community and our mods don't like insults.
Definitely, hence why there's no insultmikelessar wrote: 3 weeks agoCareful now, please, we as a community and our mods don't like insults.

You made a claim (which was incorrect).
I responded with a counterargument and backed it up.
You respond by twisting words and hostile language.
This discussion is over for me.
Have a great day.
Playing HC SSF right now.
Hell completed: Sorc, Druid, Paladin, Ama, Assa, Necro, Barb
Iron Man (Paladin): Nightmare A1

Twisting words would be to misquote someone and yet here you are doing it yourself. Please point out where I said Mang Song's is stronger against immunes? All the info is there whether you want to read it or not.vued wrote: 3 weeks agoOh man.D369 wrote: 3 weeks agoWhere your argument here about Obsession falls apart is the fact that there aren't very many 0 Light Resistant targets in Diablo 2 and 70-75% of the enemies have 30% LR or higher. We all have Infinity and we know how the clear speed is. Best of luck
OP
Figured I'd update since I've been using the thing for a while now, specifically on how well it performs on the Nova Sorc. I was worried that without Insight on the merc, it would be scary, but alas, it is still pretty fantastic! Warmth is at level 19 with gear and a few extra points I didn't need for ES (Memory prebuff ftw). I obviously do not generate mana as fast as before, but in MOST cases, I'm above half-pool, and if it gets dicey, I can just pop a full rejuv. Mana regen is still pretty quick (~80MP per tick). Scrolls on the Belt for extra charm room to min-max as best I can. Sitting at resistances between 60 and 75 (I know it matters less here but I like the extra safety), 200 MF on the dot, -71% enemy light res with all the gear (griff's, Crescent Moon Runeword, uber jewel, sunder). I'm rocking Frostburn and 2 SoJ so mana pool is about 3.3K after BO, health pool is over 800. Merc is of course rocking the Infinity, as well as Treachery and Cure.
I've been playing mostly at P7, and it's obviously still a bit scary in certain areas, such as WSK, but it was scary there before anyways! I think this build is completely viable without Insight. Obviously a self-wield Infinity with Insight on the merc is still superior, however.

One of the ways people roll Nova sorc without Insight is to really heavily boost mpk. It changes all the gear around. Personally, not for me.justinman114 wrote: 1 hour agoFigured I'd update since I've been using the thing for a while now, specifically on how well it performs on the Nova Sorc.
