whats the char limit for single player offline characters?

I saw a post somewhere that switch has a limit of 30.

couldn[t find besides 20 chars for online.

I can't see why they would limit the number of offline characters on PC. So I kinda doubt there is any limitation besides your storage. With that said I did some testing because someone claimed that you could only create 20 offline characters. During my testing I got bored after creating 53 characters. Which adds to my belief that you can have an unlimited amount of characters.

Pretty sure there isn't a limit apart from your storage. Even if there was a limit, you could simply navigate to where the save files are kept and move them elsewhere then create more characters.
