Can be used to make Runewords:
First thought, maybe not well thought out...but i would change Mosaic from buffing charges into something like +elemental dmg and -elemental ress on skills from martial art like Phoenix Strike and such.
I feel you on this one...not wnting to have charges drop has got to be at least partially responsible for my high blood pressureSchnorki wrote: 10 hours agoGoing through a (partial) shard run with that, I can't help but be annoyed more than anything. I had forgotten just how "anti-chill" that playstyle is.
Leave as it is, powerful but not fun at all to play. Although clearly useful for getting to 99 quickly. Look at the prices for MA Assassin items (other than the best Claws). Gives an indication of how popular it is, despite the power.
The charging system alone makes it inconvenient for farming a lot of popular content solo.

They removed it from ladder and that all they should do. I like looking at my disco ball if i stare at the screen when she is going full blast i think i get some downloads its like scrying or something.
LF:HRs, Perfect Gems, Perfect Amethyst, Hel, Ral, Key of Hate Key of Terror Key of Destruction. Do not ask me how much an item is worth value is perceived. Please use the price checking tool before posting an offer please.
Either i got lucky or it is still popular nonladder for some.M1ck wrote: 8 hours agoLeave as it is, powerful but not fun at all to play. Only useful for getting to 99 quickly. Sold a claw for 5 Ber last week on non-dlc nonladder sc.
I never in my life had such a big deal and it was not asking me for a price.
He just offered the amount of Runes.
Must've been a pretty solid base then.Greys_Prey_Two wrote: 8 hours agoEither i got lucky or it is still popular nonladder for some.M1ck wrote: 8 hours agoLeave as it is, powerful but not fun at all to play. Or someone who didn't realize you can just craft them on non-ladder now.. ^^
Yeah, i dont know^^. Im absolutely not into the knowledge of such high trades.Schnorki wrote: 7 hours agoMust've been a pretty solid base then.Greys_Prey_Two wrote: 8 hours agoEither i got lucky or it is still popular nonladder for some.M1ck wrote: 8 hours agoLeave as it is, powerful but not fun at all to play. I just said yes, the rune word wasnt even in.
It was this one, what do you think who made the better deal or was it fair:
3phoenix2dragontail1shadow warrior 3os Suwayyah
I'd be happy with that. For starters preferred base is Greater Talons or Runic Talons, if it was Claws of Thunder staff mod would be a different story.Greys_Prey_Two wrote: 6 hours agoYeah, i dont know^^. Nice Throw barb btw
IMO the the only way to balance Mosaic is to give it a baseline MASIVE -skill damage stat for the elements the martial arts tree uses, and the current +skill damage rolls should be used to reduce that negative impact.
The alternatives I saw proposed of making it more expensive or reducing the chance below 100% defeats its purpose, which is to enable the martial arts tree to a new (at the time) play style.
If the chance is not 100% then it's little better than no Mosaic at all and the whole martial arts tree becomes as awkward as it's always been before.
Making it hyper expensive but otherwise leaving it as is may have some impact VERY early ladder, but does nothing all the rest of the time. It would also only widen the power gap of the very hardcore or the very lucky with everyone else. Plus it would be even more awkward for the non-ladder implications.
Because of these reasons I don't think there's any viable way to balance it than a flat damage reduction. Exact numbers would have to crunched and I think after recent events most of us don't trust Blizzard with both the number crunching and the precedent of making such a big nerf on something that has already existed for years. But in the case of this one runeword in particular, if something is ever done, I think that is the only way.
I genuinely think that if it did, as an example, half as much damage, it would still remain the best build in the whole game.

Mosaic is OP. But the STRESS of moving fast enough to keep your charges up is brutal. You can't stop to pick anything up. I haven't touched my Mosaic sin in 6 months.
She'll continue to rot at the bottom of my char selection screen along with my meme builds.
That being said almost no one plays Mosaic on Xbox since it kills every machine except the most top end ones. If they join any Baal runs every one leaves before their console crashes. So it's nerfed itself in my ecosphere.

Will buy any 3 minor keys for an Ist - message me.
My free items are for players who play on xbox only and are intended for new players or ones who can't afford much. Its sad I even need to stipulate this ...

Turns out taking mosaics into new content is even more ridiculous than it was back when it was introduced.
Went and joined a public shard game just for the hell of it. As the only Sin in there.
Had 3 T5 ires drawn nearly simultaneously.
I ended up triggering the first one, killing the Herald, moving on, triggering the 2nd one, killing that Herald, moving on and triggering and roasting the 3rd one as well. All before the other 7 people managed to trigger even 1 of them. Not by being an ass and chain-teleporting past 'em all but simply by steamrolling through.
Given, the triggering alone is a matter of pure dumb luck since everyone's speeding up for that but yeah..heralds might as well not be heralds..close to 0 slowdown there.
(Also 0 drops of course but hey ^^)
Though it is less stressful in those games, that's actually kinda nice. Just pick the nice and open areas everyone else hates (first half of A3 being a prime example) and you can pretty much just Dragon Flight through at a semi-chill pace without a real risk of dropping charges.

The one thing they should nerf on the Mosaic, figuratively speaking, is her mouth. I find the constant "hi yah" yelling too annoying to play the assassin for than a few minutes at time.
reduce to only 2 or 3 stacks, tune the damage way down, meanwhile get rid of the running time so during the game they are always on (yes a very strong opinion), people can have some fun let them have it Mosaic need some tuning but also love
I would love the charges to last longer, however at the same time the last thing I would want is a buff for current Mosaic. If they tune down its damage a lot I could get behind an increase to charges duration as a general buff to the martial arts treeKnappogue wrote: 5 hours agoMosaic is OP.
