Can be used to make Runewords:

Flavor justifications are easy. For example, you're likely using some kind of weapon infused with magic. Let's say that projecting echoes from it creates a burst of magical power that results in physical deterioration. Or the weapon's magic is tied to the physical state of the weapon and the echoes slowly drain the former, resulting in the latter's degradation.

The part that matters is the mechanical side. It doesn't seem like the warlock, damage-wise, needs to use ethereal weapons better than all other classes.

I tend to think that a nerf was necessary.
- Multiplicative damage instead of additive was most likely a mistake, and removing that alone will basically divide all damage by 3 or 4. And that's a good thing.

- Most of the others (e.g. less synergies for ES), tend to agree too, though...

weapons for main char was fun, so that one is more an annoyance than a strong nerf, so not very happy on this one.

> And the damage taken was also rather fun on something that is static on floor and not very large - would have simply diminished the values instead of removing fully the thing.

Anyway, before crying, let's try.
i'm 100% on this as well.

Having durability loss doesn't make sense to me ...for a skill named "echoing" strike which literally is a Spell.

U take your weapon's damage and project sound outwards and it bounces back to you, similiar to
War Cry
and..might i add -
Shock Wave
.

There never is any physical interaction between the weapon (that is FLOATING) ever touching whatever is targeted, only the echoes branch out and return.

I only play softcore, non-ladder.

A few hours after PTR closure...I sure hope they finally got some internal testers to replace their "streamers can do it" nonsense because the PTR and random people alone obviously don't cut it.

There's a measly 23 bug reports that came out of it. Or in other words ... 35% of all PTR bug reports were submitted by me, despite my semi-limited testing. That ain't right.

Here's to hoping they add an in-game bug reporting tool again if/when we ever get another PTR. Maybe that'll help things at least a tiny bit.

i seen a video where someone was saying item drop rates from heralds are really ridiculous. any thoughts on that aspect?

Didn't do too much chain-farming. Plus I tend to filter most loot so not exactly keeping track of it.
But from what I saw, they did drop a ton of uniques although most of them ended up the usual trash. Which is kind of what they're doing on live already except more overall because you get heralds to spawn faster.

I think that some drop rates maybe are inflated for the PTR, in order to balance them later.

There is one rule, above all others, for being a man. Whatever comes, face it on your feet.
