No rune at Countess

Hi,

Yesterday got in hell with the Warlock and got to

The Countess. The quest was activated, and got validated after killing her, but she dropped NOTHING.

I never had that in all my years of diablo 2. Is it something that also happened to you, and if so were the circumstances similar ?

That is a tiny chance of happening. Ive had similar multiple times, its always fun running all the way to countess and only get nothing or just some lowballing garbage runes. Countess is only worth very early game, but it 100% aint worth farming any further than that.

it is 100% worth farming for keys, rune drops as bonus imo

and the no rune drops happen from time to time.

Sure if you get keys, I cant remember the last time

Key has dropped from countess. I dont farm keys because I just cant get them. No point wasting time getting those when could be spending the time farming something else which actually might provide something useful

1 per 50 runs is f-cking disgusting. And they wonder why people bot in diablo games :'D

Odds for T-

Key at countess are ~1:13.6 (7.35%)

I had runs where I had 3 in 15 runs and other runs where I didn't get a single one in 50 runs. Those anecdotes are just deviations.

Just do more runs.

Don't recall exactly but I think its like 1 in 12.

You can 100% get them.

Do 100 runs of any

Key source (Summoner,

Nihlathak, Countess) and keep track of your runs - mark them down on a notepad or something. Don't even do 100 consecutive runs, just do 3 or 5 or 10 at a time or whatever, but the point is, keep track of them.

The odds of NOT getting at LEAST 3 keys by the time you hit 100 runs is probably slimmer than your odds of dropping a Griffon's on your next Pit run with 0% MF.

Yes, you can do 35 runs with nothing. I've done it. Then I've done

Key every single run for the next 3. Or multiple keys in the same drop.

But to sit there and suggest you "just can't get them" is being disingenuous. If you hate grinding for keys I get that. But let's be real here.

No thanks. I dont do 100 runs of anything mate. I dont play that way. Closest to 100 runs of something I do is
