I gamble the following using a Edge weapon + 15%

Gheed's Fortune where possible:

Leather Gloves' @ clvl 66 for rare +2skills 20%ias dual res w/ str or dex. blue w/ +3skills 20%ias

Sash' @ clvl 64 for rare 24%fhr tri res str life

Gambling at these clvl's keeps costs low, keeps the upgrade chance low and avoids diluting the affix pool with more affixes reducing your odds of getting the one's you want.

I should warn you that the odds of getting anything good from gambling these items are extremely remote. Expect to gamble hundreds of millions of

Gold and spend countless hours horking

Don't gamble for profit, it has very low ROI (Return On Investment) for time spent. You're better off farming statues if that's your goal.

Continuing the "Don't gamble for profit", if you're willing to make online trades and a low/medium cost unique/set item would be better than you current one, spent your time/resources trading for them instead of try to gamble something better...
Leave gamble to those slots where the BIS is a rare/magic item

and alvl 37 (illv - qlvl/2)

for just resist clvl 31 would be enough

10% fcr (alvl 5)
25 mf (alvl 16)
80% gold (alvl 17)

repl 5 (alvl 70) (this one needs clvl 76)

Those clvl are for

Boots only (the one with 2-3 def), the other boots have higher qlvl and will required higher clvl/ilvl to the same affixes...
