Bowazon bows

What are some off meta bowazon builds? Here are the ones I’ve tried

Strafe - with Faith, Windforce, Mist, and witchwild

Frost Maiden- Ice bow

Fire zon - Faith

Bone Spear bowazon

Is a Phoenix bow any good? Silence? Or maybe

How about a physical bowazon with Wrath? It lacks ED, but CB and Decrepify proc compensate it (somewhat)...

I have a 30ias/65ed jeweled Giant Skull and I could use goblins toe and some blood crafted bowa gloves to add a ton of crushing blow! Or is that overkill? Lol

No atmas I’m assuming with Decrepify proc, and doesn’t Life Tap over ride it?

Also gotta go act1 merc for Fanaticism or act2 Pride

This channel does (or did) a lot of testing, mostly physical bowazon but also elemental, for example see this video and links in the description for Phoenix, 5x faceted, and Ice bows:



At one point he also tested Hand of Justice for fire bowazon, but I can't find it. But that's another option that's off meta

Only "on striking"; "on attack" doesn't work with ranged attacks.

Have you tried a Harmony main bow build? Everyone uses it for the Vigor aura on switch, but I actually ran it as my main weapon for fun. Not great damage wise, but it feels fast nd you fly through maps.

Probably visually cool with Strafe because of the Bone Spear triggers

But in practice Bone Spear damage is very low without "synergies...

(In an older thread somebody simulated the Bone Spear trigger DPS, if Necromancer had an item with Strafe as an oskill and maximized all "synergies, but the damage would be, on paper, still way lower than the damage on regular Bone Spear Necromancer )

I was questioning this previously in some post and people were saying you only get 1 "on cast" arrow that goes basically thru the middle when combined with other skills. I still didn't test that out myself but yeah, synergies also take a big part in all that.
For example I wanted to make a Brand bowazon using Guided Arrow, which would be very cool if you had a Bone Spear tracking your enemies but that doesn't work like that.

Something way, way, waaay off meta could be something like Lightning bowazon since that doesn't exist. Stacking lightning charms + Dream helm and then using multishot or something like that. I want to make that one, one day.

Still I think off-meta could be something simple as solo Charged Strike, or like full Valkyrie or something like that Even Fend and other thing ( Impale) is very much considered niche because it's really not that good, not good at all (but that's not a bowazon build).

This behaviour is for Multiple Shot (only the two central arrows can trigger some effects like "on striking"). With Strafe each arrow can trigger everything a normal attack can.

i wanted to share my build as it is working, i join p8 shared games to farm and level up, and it works great!

WEAPONS: Mist/Hustle (proc BoS with Hustle and press W for Mist) GMB both! Too bad my Mist (lv9 327ed) AND Hustle (180ed) suck! =/

and you may ask WHY Obedience???
answer is the CB is crazy P8
his dmg is 3,1k-6k max aspd, with the lv21enchant he almost never misses

WHAT? NO POINTS IN VIT? HOW DO YOU EVEN PLAY THAT?
I will tell you, my FAVORITE farming place is WSK!!! i fear no soul... ok i fear soul killers... but Decoy handles them!

My HP is 800, thats all that i need, just dont get IKed and you will never die, max resists, 15%+ life steal, 5% mana steal
Just use Decoy/valk on every corner, "pre- Strafe" every now and then, your mercenary will tank and you are safe! Atma works 100% if you have the Bone Break charm, so i fear no ghost too!

that's it, you may swap the Mist for WF and nosferatu for Razortail, your max dmg goes from 6k to 8k+ (you may swap the ring too as you will not need mana leech)
