Is well water OP?

Does it need nerfing?
(Question asked tongue in cheek)

Case for needing to nerf well water.

It is a Cure-all in the midst of hostile environments, making a mockery of fights.

It heals poison. Zip; gone. That’s the job of healers and antidote potions, and auras.

It heals stamina. I mean, beyond level 20, no one really cares, but still… healing stamina should be the work of healers and resting in town… or stamina potions.

It heals health. Like 50% a gulp. 8,000 stacked health? Have a 4,000 point heal. Per sip. Instantly. That is better than a minor Rejuvenation Potion (which really only does 2 things so is quite useless really). It beats the hell out of slow healing naturally, through potions or the Prayer Aura… or life leaching, or life after each kill. It is as good as Phoenix.. only you don’t need to kill monsters and drink their souls to do so.. and Phoenix needs multiple souls to get the same heal.

It heals mana instantly at about 50% a sip. What are we supposed to use mana potions for?

It heals curses too. Yep, that’s right. Curses. Dispelled. Instantly. Decrepified? Amp damned? Not anymore.

It has 2 charges so standing by a well, players can get back to full health, full mana, full stamina, and be cured of poison, and curses.

I mean… it’s such an OP item which occurs naturally, sometimes two or three times in the same area? It has no level requirement, it requires no payment of Gold, no runes are used, no RNG roll required, and… get this… it refills over time so players can do it all again after a few minutes.

The well is to shrines, what Grief is to Runewords. Broken broken broken!

It’s like having Farah, Akara, Ormus, or Mala with you in the battlefield… have we thought of these NPCs who might find themselves with nothing to do?

I mean WTF Blizzard. The game is broken. Nerf the well!! Balance is demanded. Nerf the well!!

Once 500 ‘signatures’ have been accumulated, this will not turn into a petition for the Devs at Blizzard… and they will (still) not care one bit… but be heard!!!

Happy Monday.

Ps. Edited for typos.

Yes, wells are op. Wells need to be nerfed to make other shrines viable

Resurrected Sorceress Europe PC
April 1st was a few month ago :)

I don't have RotW expansion yet.
When I look for rune, you can offer Perfect Gems as well.
I live in Europe/Budapest timezone.
For my free stuff I appreciate if you give me Perfect Gems, but it is optional.
