This probably is not the place to write this, but Blizzard are assholes and have shutdown any useful support options. I just bought D2R for PC after playing the original for years but it is not showing up in my library. I have checked my transactions page and it says the purchase has been completed, on the store page for D2R it says it is in my library and yet when I check my owned games/library it is not there. I have tried everything I can to access Blizzard support but alas no response and I can't even make a support ticket either, all they have available is an abhorrently bad AI automated help service which is useless, I assume the issue is a licensing link issue. Any help would be greatly appreciated before I fire bomb Blizzard HQ.
My OS is Linux Mint ( If that helps).

Can be used to make Runewords:

Wait so it says you have the game on the battle.net website?
What do you mean by 'owned games/library'? The launcher?
I also hate the AI support stuff - if there was still the option to make a ticket then I wouldn't mind so much - it's the obfuscation of the good old ticket that is the most infuriating thing.
Moved this out of bug reports subforum by the way as it's not a bug with the diablo2.io website.
Is this referring to somewhere ^ other than the battle.net website?

OP
Yes, sorry for any confusion, I cannot find the game in the Launcher in "owned games"section. And it says on the site that it is in my Library.

See my image
Hmmmm... it could be the launcher not recognising your OS (Linux Mint) and therefore not showing the game.skopiy wrote: 7 months agoYes, sorry for any confusion, I cannot find the game in the Launcher in "owned games"section.
Have you read this topic yet? There's a bunch of other Linux users in here who provide instructions for playing the game without the launcher.
OP
I have installed the Battle.net launcher with Lutris and I even checked on a windows VM to see if it was just Linux being weird but the issue was there too ( being the game not appearing in the owned games area).Teebling wrote: 7 months agoHmmmm... it could be the launcher not recognising your OS (Linux Mint) and therefore not showing the game.skopiy wrote: 7 months agoYes, sorry for any confusion, I cannot find the game in the Launcher in "owned games"section.

@skopiy here's the URL to create a support ticket: https://us.battle.net/support/en/help/c ... 936/ticket

Thank you, I will no longer bother the fine heroes of this forum page. I do not know how I managed to miss this.Teebling wrote: 7 months ago@skopiy here's the URL to create a support ticket: https://us.battle.net/support/en/help/c ... 936/ticket

Did you manage to solve your problem? I'm really curious to hear how it went.
Battle.net is kind of trash app which may be hard to make it working properly on Linux and may be broken after any update.
You can try to clean the cache located in C:/ProgramData/ by removing Battle.net and Blizzard Entertainment directories.
If it doesn't solve your issue, I recommend you to install ProtonPlus (using flatpak) to manage wine versions, then add wine-staging-tkg 10.6 to Lutris and do a clean install of Battle.net using Lutris.
Don't forget to select the wine version you just installed before running the launcher.

100% agree. I consider it adware because the only reason it exists seems to be displaying ads for games i'll never playTornado_OLO wrote: 7 months agoBattle.net is kind of trash app which may be hard to make it working properly on Linux and may be broken after any update.
As it happens to bug me just today again with weird "Ooops something crashed" issues here is a quick and dirty fix i do in such cases, reverting to an older and working version of
Agent.exe:cd drive_c/ProgramData/Battle.net/Agent # cd into your agent dirlook for most recent
Agent.XXXX dircp Agent.XXXX/Agent.exe{,.bak} # Backups the most recent Agent.exe inplacelook for last working
Agent.XXXX dir, calling it Agent.OOOO in the examplecp Agent.OOOO/Agent.exe Agent.XXXX/Agent.exe # overwrites new Agent.exe with old onesudo chattr +i Agent.XXXX/Agent.exe # makes your overwritten Agent.exe immutable so autoupdate can't overwrite itUndo:
sudo chattr -i Agent.XXXX/Agent.exe # reverts immutablemv Agent.XXXX/Agent.exe.bak Agent.XXXX/Agent.exe # Overwrites Agent.exe with backupWelcome to the forum, no problem for asking, glad to see more people using linux hereskopiy wrote: 7 months agoThank you, I will no longer bother the fine heroes of this forum page. Have u tried steam?
It’s easier to get it to work on Linux.
I’ve managed to get D2R running on steam on my EPYC Ubuntu server. Later I switched to running via VM instead for other reasons.
Finally, the real test, try running on a friend windows PC. It should work.
Issue might just be getting it to work on Linux environment
