Hi!
I'm thinking using Grim Ward with the throw barb- does it overwrite curses? Because that would be bad...
And, is leveling with it reasonable or the repairs too frequent? maybe strive to max throw mastery before Double Throw?
Does Lacerator work? Or does the monster flee overwrite the amp all the time?
Maybe better use rares with Grim Ward/reaper's merc?

Can be used to make Runewords:
People normally max Throwing Mastery first

And from what people said in other thread forums/can-a-throw-barbarian-full-reple ... 95814.html with max mastery you don't need to repair

From Lacerator page
Remember that Amplify Damage affects an area, while "hit causes monster to flee" affects only a single target (and do not affect champion and unique monsters )
But even with this "problem" it is stil BIS for throw barbarian. One thing to note about Lacerator is that the "Hit Causes Monster To Flee 50%" actually works by applying the Terror curse, which overrides Amplify Damage

Don't know, but I would guess that Grim Ward does not override curses (except "flee" like effects - like is said on the skill page)
But... even if Grim Ward overrided curses, with max synergies, it is better than Amplify Damage (120 x 100 physical reduction).
Because many Barbarian builds maximize Find Potion for the synergy with Grim Ward and at same time those builds have some source of Amplify Damage or Decrepify (in itself or merc)

According to the Amazon Basin,
When different curse is cast on a cursed target, it will normally overwrite the previous one. Exceptions are as follows:
When different curse is cast on a cursed target, it will normally overwrite the previous one. Exceptions are as follows:
- Grim Ward can only be overwritten by Confuse and Attract
- Fleeing effects have their own hierarchy; those higher on the following list cannot be overwritten by those lower:
- Confuse cannot overwrite itself or be overwritten by any of the following:
- Attract
- Dim Vision
- Grim Ward
- Hit Blinds Target
- Taunt
- Terror
- Attract cannot be overwritten by anything, including itself.
(my doubt was if Grim Ward was a "curse like" effect... I understand that YES)

Crushing blow
Life/mana leech
Deadly strike
Meaning does crushing blow work etc.
Yes for all
(But Crushing Blow is less effective with ranged attacks - half damage)
