You can mount it from your hard disc, portable drive as I did last summer, or thumb drive (in Win 10 & 11, right click and choose mount) and have it function just as it would in a CD/DVD drive, or since it's an ISO, you can burn it to disc, or you can format a thumb drive to behave like a CD drive.RackAnewShoe wrote: 2 days agoI have one buried somewhere. That was on my list for trying to get it to work, whenever I find the time for such things. Instead I'll just do another few Chaos runs on D2R.justinman114 wrote: 2 days agoJust buy an external CD drive? I think that should work.RackAnewShoe wrote: 3 days agoOriginal classic is still dear to my heart. I want to go back and do a few runs again with the pain of the original game, but I have gotten so used to the QOL since that it might be too painful.
I still have two sets of CD's with keys that I tried to install on my newer computer, but the DVD drive won't read the LOD disc to install. I was going to relive 1.07 or whatever it was with the LOD expansion, but alas I haven't figured out how to get it installed and the Blizzard web site is offering little help beyond a broken link and a disclaimer that it is unsupported and they won't do anything to help.
