Hello all! I've been running auradin (fire&lightning) for a while now. Thinking of trying a dragondin with self aura
Holy Shock
and will use fire and crack of heaven's sunder charms. Is there a huge difference between sunders and self aura
Conviction
? Any opinion will be much appreciated. thanks in advance!

Sunders break immunities and lowers the resist of the targets by a flat amount of 5%, so sundered enemies will have 95% resist.
Conviction
lowers the resistences and breaks it if lowered to <100. But it receives a penalty afaik if the monsters are allready sundered.
Conviction
is unable to break certain immunities but sunders always do. Having 95% resists monsters isn't fun to play against, tho. Never tried this build, but my suggestion would be firesunder +
Conviction
to further lower the resists will do the job.

Thank you so much for the input. I was thinking
Holy Shock
as my own aura then
Conviction
from merc act2. I really wanna try dragondin with
Holy Shock
. just wondering if using sunder charm is better than having
Conviction
, but then again if i use my own
Conviction
i won't be able to use
Holy Shock
.

To add:

U need both for best effectiveness of the aura

Sunder just for breaking immunities on the mobs that
Conviction
cannot break.

Conviction
is to reduce the resist of the mobs further into the negative range

Can trade on PC or SWITCH
