Rebuying a tome or going back to halls of dead to get back cube is way less impacting.

You can't even sell your cube, which makes it a great inventory divider along with other quest items.

Or better yet, clear out your inventory. It gives you more space to gamble before selling and you don't need the other items besides
Gheed's Fortune
anyway, which, if you're really prone to unwitting mis-clicking, could be placed to the right of the cube.

Agreed, that's the way I've always played it.

I did the exact same thing on during season 1 HC! And I do keep it on the right side, I just had an inv full of ammys and rings and clicked too fast.. :(
Died not too long after so would've lost it anyways tho.
