Description

Has anyone tried it? Can it work similarly to
Zeal
? With patch 2.4 there were improvements and now damage to self is only 1% at high level, but I wonder if there's any hidden mechanics that make it better or worse than it seems.

I'll give it a try anyway, but any experience you might share is super welcome!

The biggest drawback to it is you are only attacking once, which means clearing anything is going to be time consuming. Additionally, you are lacking the other 4 hits of
Zeal
for things like Crushing Blow on bosses.

If I am not responding add me on Bnet and drop me a message!

Never seriously tried it, all I can say about melee paladin is that for me,
Zeal
is a no go in hardcore, because it locks you in hitting animation for a while which can be deadly.

If I wanted to make a melee pala in HC I'd probably rather try
Vengeance
or
Charge
. In SC I go
Zeal
but I'm curious about your future findings about
Sacrifice
.

You'll have to stack more IAS than with
Zeal
but you can probably hit quite fast I assume.
