lvl1 ranged weapon

I want to make a crazy great lvl1 ranged weapon that even a sorc lvl1 can wear.
Biggest problem seems to be her 10 strength.
I came up with this:
Long Bow with 5 jewels 20 poison damage (the jewels I already have).
It needs 22 strength.
To get 12 more strength I need a Cap and Leather Armor each 2 sockets with chipped amethysts.

If you would have any of these for me I would be happy
Cap with 2 sockets
Leather Armor with 2 sockets
Long Bow with 5 sockets
chipped amethysts

Do you maybe have another idea to get the additional 12 str needed?

The quick and cheap answer for you is Hunter's Bow 4 socket, no require str and easy get, equip 4 , 20 poison jewel

I also plan rush journey for low level sorc that can kill diablo at lv 7

In theory, the ideal setup should look like this.

Long War Bow / Military Pick , Your choice, range or melee 6os
Light Plate 3os
Mask 3os
Life 10 charm+ 15 resist
however, this setup will be very very expensive.

My current choice is
Crown 3os
Ancient Armor 4os
Military Pick 6os /rixot
Str 4 charm + 15 resist

Those two setup will have 100 hp difference. The first one of course is best, that you make everything right.


There are several bow choice you can use and recommend.
Long War Bow(Strongest), Long Battle Bow, Composite Bow(Fastest), my recent test suggest 4os Composite Bow is best but you have to make good enough jewel. If not, use Long Battle Bow, 6os , that you can just put soso jewel x6 to perform like 4os Composite Bow, just slower. Long War Bow is big gun , the problem is it is very hard to find good base.

If you dont want spend on it, the other cheap alternative is to gamble using lv 1 char, to get yellow Hunter's Bow, this bow need to have 5 attr, and one must be amp. It will be okay on the price you pay and the roll is easy you nearly guarantee get it in 1 or 2 roll(amp).

Repeating Crossbow ,

this weapon is best for sorc/nec.

I was play paladin / merc earlier. It is Military Pick. But when I look again in sorc/nec.

it is Repeating Crossbow / Kris.

You might need research it again, I haven't play rush normal sorc/nec/druid yet.

Diablo on Lvl 7, you guys are crazy

I guess you know the youtube channel "Zarfen the Lootgoblin"?
He is doing similiar challenges and I enjoy the way he narrates his "journey" throughout the challenges a lot.
Really great to listen to IMO.
