So my first ever Zod rune dropped on me from the most unlikely source...
Doing a Trav run, on the way to the council, killed a plain old night lord on the way and boom. Zod rune on the Ground.
Is this even possible? I thought only Baal / Pindle could drop Zod?
There was also a stash very close to where I killed the Nightlord - could it have been from here?

Can be used to make Runewords:

Nah, Zod isn't that special in terms of what can drop it. Even the White mobs in Trav have a chance to. Albeit a measly 1 in almost 4 million.. (P1)

Nice, GG. And yes, it can drop anywhere, not only lvl 85 areas
Zod can drop as early as area level 78+ from uniques/minions and Berserker champions, so pretty much almost anywhere in Hell.
Just got my first Zod drop from the council members in Travincle
