With a buff to Act 5 mercs like the devs hinted at, an Eth one of these would hit like a truck.

another Obedience -like gift, it seems? Lets the occasional barb slice through hell with even moderate luck after nm hellforge. The devs want to diversify ladder start, so less hammer/sorcs rushin forward for fast mf/profit - understandable.

Oh dang, and just stumbled into this on Reddit. Looks like we're going to get more in the coming days. I love seeing these previews, gets me pumped for 2.4.

1:54 drop chance for Fal rune on hell countess. or cube from 3 Ko and a Flawed Sapphire. 1:21 for Io rune from nightmare countess. 1:14 for Hel rune. should be pretty easy to get early.
That is awesome. Will fill that gap between crap gear and GG gear!

Not a completely new runeword actually - its name has been present in runes.txt file for years, along with many more (although without stats - only Pattern and Plague have them). It is a hint that we can expect more unfinished stuff to be brought back in future patches.

I guess the trick here will be finding a 6os sword worth the runeword early on. Seems very OP compared to similar rw requiring up to Io, but barbs are pretty trash without 300+ ed weapons anyways... I'm a ever so slightly disappointed its for swords only, I've always been an 
man myself. Curious to see how Taunt on strike will effect this weapon as a viable choice. I know I would not use it if I had a reapers toll merc.

Isn't it damage? Several translators translated it as something related to damage. I wish someone who knows Korean could translate it properly.

15% goes to mana is from Ith, and 15% slower stamina drain from Eld.
