Alright. Could you try turning those off and see if it works?
EDIT: success! no push notification.

found the 'Local Storage' on firefox and it says 'false':

Is this from the notification panel or your notification dropdown?
Dropdown. currently toggled off but still getting notifications.
Although i just checked the notification panel and it seems the push notifications still have a check mark: mystery solved?

Alright. Could you try turning those off and see if it works? Would be a good workaround in the meantime until the enable/disable bug is fixed.

Also might have a slightly more hacky way of fully disabling it. In your browser open up developer menu or the equivalent (usually Ctrl + Alt + I is the shortcut):

Open up 'Storage' or 'Application' or anything along those sort of lines. You're looking for a section called Local Storage:
In the Local Storage section - it shows all of the data that has been saved to your browser. The way the developer made the push notifications extension is he set a value called 'pushnotifications_receive' in this localstorage area of your browser to either true or false depending on what you chose on the website:
So it might be worth checking if that is correct. For you wanting to disable notifications, it should be set to false. Let me know what you find, might be useful to others with the same issue.
Also you can change that value manually yourself if you want ^ just double click it and type in false.
