This is one game mode that i have interest in, screw nostalgia there's no going back to the Stone age.
I restarted playing like this because I miss the old days. Play at night, lights off and it's a trip I tells ya!
As an aside, have you gone through all the mercs available to you yet? I was on my last one the first time I beat Andariel with my bowazon.

Be sure to try the soul pack mf booster trick when you are able to.
Once successful, go clear a whole game for countless rare drops. They may not be GG items, but sure are fun to look at (and can sell for some nice Gold as well) =)
