Griswold's Legacy

Griswold's Legacy is the Paladin 'class' set, which will apply the glowing visual (only) aura effect to your character. The sets stats are generally quite poor compared to a lot of the uniques and runewords that exists and came into being in later patches and thus isn't used as much as other class sets.

A lot of the power of the set comes from the tons of sockets the individual items boast. Across the entire set, a character can obtain up to 12 sockets on top of the set's other modifiers. A player looking to utilize this set should thus be prepared to either grind for a lot of jewels/runes for the set or to be able to trade for said socketables.

Some of the builds utilizing the Grisworld's Legacy are:

• The Avenger (
  Vengeance/
  Conviction paladin) which focuses on elemental damage with ED/damage jewels

• FoH paladin socketed with Light Facet's (
  Rainbow Facet: Lightning Death). Very expensive due to the facets

• Smiter Paladin due to the high max roll damage on the shield type
