I'm wondering if anyone else has experienced this problem, and might have found a solution.
In Legacy mode, sometimes when I use Battle Command/ Battle Orders, it messes up all of the sound effects in the game - such that only some sound effects play. It's jarring, breaks immersion, not to mention not hearing the sound of a rune drop is frustrating.
Once the problem appears, it persists, regardless of switching modes, or even logging out of the game. I have to completely close and restart D2 in order to restore the audio back to normal.
The problem never seems to initiate if I stick to D2R graphics.
The problem is tied to using Battle Command/ Battle Orders in Legacy mode, specifically.
