I have a rare Diadem, +2 martial arts and 20% faster cast rate.
There is an experienced seller selling such an item for 25 Jah; but he puts it on sale with x2 sockets. Should I go to Larzuk and add sockets to it for better price and easy sale? Does it worth to spend one of my character's Larzuk for that?

Giving a rare to Larzuk will always give it one socket. That seller's rare spawned with a hidden affix granting 2 sockets, like jewellers or mechanics on magic ones
As for trade value a 2/20 with these affixes, socketed or not won't beat a 3/20 magic one which could also roll 2os

The extra 2 sockets on the other allow for much more customisation so justifies a higher price. Here, the +2 martial, 20 FCR and life are good stats. The ar and fire resist are wasted, and because it spawned with no sockets, as someone has said, if you Larzuk, it will add 1 socket only which won't really change the value of yours much. At a level 64 use, there are lots of much more desirable helms for the assassin... keeping your Larzuk might be best here.

2/20 circlets are actually quite common and the market is full of them.
Yours has :
- 2 to a tree, not 2 all for a class
- 20 fcr
- Average AR and good life roll
- Negligible fire res
- 6th possible affix is absent
Overall, it's not a very good item, that is probably worth Ist at most. Therefore, probably not worth the quest.

I agree with Ist. 2/20 can be great but martial doesn't even use attack rating, since it's + to tree and not class it's just the life roll, which is not enough to give it much value
