Found this and trying to figure out what it's worth (non-ladder, softcore, PC) but Price check for this varies so wildly I can't really trust it, anyone know why, and what it's actually worth?

Here's what I'm getting on the Price check
For NL trade, use the following value Key: Jah = 10, Ber = 9, Zod = 8, Sur = 6, Lo = 5, Cham = 4, Ohm = 3, Vex = 2, Gul = 1.5 Ist = 1, Mal = 0.75, Um = 0.5, Pul = 0.25, Lem = 0.2, 3x Perfect Amethysts = 0.2
The "of vita" suffix can roll from 36 till 45 life on grand charms. While 36 life is only worth around a Lo or Sur rune, a perfect one is worth multiple Jah runes. You have to check the description to find trades for similar charms.
For your skiller with 39 life I would say ~Jah in sc nl.

Maybe I'm dumb and just didn't find where to click, but the trades listed in the price check tool don't seem to allow clicking any one of them and reading up the whole trade more closely. Some trades will show a preview of the description when hovering my mouse cursor over a specific place, but not all trades seem to do it. How can I go read up any trade's description?

When hovering your mouse cursor over the text, it should show the description. But not all trades have proper descriptions.
You can also use the keyword filter and search for trades with 39 in their description: pricecheck.php?item=Fungal%20Grand%20Ch ... &sk=m&sd=d&
