Hey, does anyone know of a D2R resource that has more detailed info on monster damage types?
All the sites I know of just list "attack 1: x-x" but don't give more detail on what damage types (ie fire, magic etc.) are being done, nor what the attack in question is. For example: I've always wondered what damage types the Succubus fireballs are. I know some of it is physical, but do they also do magic or fire damage?

Once you pick the monster type you're interested in there, it gives you a list of their attacks/skills and shows the related damage type for each.
Feels slightly off/incomplete in some Edge cases but overall it tends to be sufficient.
I'm sure there's a better overview hidden away somewhere on the interwebs but it's not something I've ever actively searched for so..no clue where.

It would actually be a nifty feature to add to the monster database on this site!

Been a very long time since I did any D2 modding but I suspect MPQ format has not change a lot. You probably can still make import routines that extract all the data out of the game files for a given patch and then organize and index in tables for DTO, caching, web search, filters, etc with psql, mongo, indexdb, or whatever the cool kids use for databases these days!
Keep in mind some of the monster affixes are randomly rolled so you have fixed stats, ranged stats, and random stats for the monster spawn boxes in the area. Lots and lots of layers of procedural generated randomness in Diablo from the maps to the items and everything in between!
A ha! Looks like this website uses phpBB. The last time I made one of those it was for EVE and I think I used MariaDB or MySQL maybe, it should definitely be possible to add join tables for extra information that maybe does not load on the hotlink tooltip overlay but can be expanded on the main entry page for monster or something like that?!?
