What if lidless could roll 1-2 skills?

It's still not as good as Spirit in terms of FCR. It would get a socket, which would mean it would overtake Spirit in some builds. But it would come at an FCR penalty, which would require rework.

Lower stat requirement and mana bost and a possibility of a facet would make it attractive. But you gotta make up for 15 FCR and res.

If you don't like the option of doing this with lidless, what about

Head Hunter's Glory? That could be the 2 skill version of lidless.

The Oculus needs at least the option to drop without the random

Teleport mod.

2 skills would be too much imo at lvl 41 for lidless. maybe 1-2 sockets instead?

Stormshield - make it ethereal and maybe add some mdr?

Medusa's Gaze - add self-repair and -20% requirements so that more people can wear it especially when ethereal.. add a random elemental bonus dmg of 10-20%, like

Opalvein?

Blackoak Shield - change half freeze duration to CBF, add +2 cold skills?

Spirit Ward - ??

Head hunter's is the troll's nest, which is the elite version of the

Bone Shield which is also the base of lidless.

Wall of the Eyeless is the normal version. Both

Wall of the Eyeless and lidless are clearly caster shields. Head hunter's should also be, and is instead just forgettable.

Rename it head hunter's wall, give it 2 skills, 20 fcr, mana, maybe a little mpk. It would be nice.

I understand the analogy but a

Caster Shield wasn't the intention I believe. I could imagine the utility for

Lightning Fury or

Plague Javelin for example if it had +1 sk, fhr or frw, and maek instead of laek

I agree, it wasn't the intention. It should have been, or it should be now in light of Spirit.

for me, there are three categories - good as they are, no change necessary; overall good, minor change necessary; not good/requires rework

actually a great ring, it's just max stamina is very weird at this level. I would replace it with +10 str to round it up

has good potential but not quite enough.. and stamina is again irrelevant. would cut both stamina stats and add 10 pdr and 10 life regen instead. would be a very good allround defensive ring, resilient as a dwarf
