I’m playing on softcore non-ladder and I’m hoping someone has these runewords laying around possibly. Please reach out if you do and are willing to part with them

They are all available on the trade market, just search for the ones you want and see who's selling, make some bids, ???, profit.

“Slow legwork” see that’s the problem. You’re telling me that I have to create an account on another website to comb that for someone who’s wants to sell one of these that would consider not worth selling. I wanna play Diablo2 not sifting through pages of trades, messaging people asking what they want only for them to say “offer”.

I don't think @justinman114 was making baseless accusations. I don't think he was accusing you of anything, actually. It appears he was referencing the old "step 1: research, step 2: ???, step 3: profit" meme.

When players ask questions, but don't provide much info on any background research or actions they may or may not have done prior to their question, it makes it hard to give relevant answers. Without any of that info, his suggestion of checking the trade section isn't wrong.

Yes. That's exactly what I'm telling you. You really only have two choices. Look for a person willing to trade at a price point you can accept, or start a ladder character when season 13 comes by since it's probably too late into season 12 to really get going from scratch. Then you can build the rune words yourself. It's obvious to me that the former will take less time than the latter. If you're willing to do neither, well... I am sure you can understand what the likely outcome would be.

I fail to see how any of this is relevant, accusations aside nobody has offered any decent advice or a lead itself. And I don’t see how me asking here is any different than research. I want a Cure which takes a few mid runes to make. I get perfect ethereal perfect roll can go for a pretty penny. But I want the one somebody made in a 3soc

If you don't like the prices that show up at/near the top, then you'll have to scroll down for 10 minutes and go bargain hunting for the 1 person who will let it go for a price you can accept. I actually spend maybe 10 minutes trading for every 10 hours I've played. There are plenty of people who are willing to help via pity trades but having a rotten attitude certainly won't encourage any help to go your way. Being grateful and nice on the other hand... Good luck.

Ladder only is expensive and hard to find on Non-ladder, specifically because you can't make them on NL.

I think you're playing the wrong Diablo game. Maybe Diablo 3 or 4 would suit you better

I played 3 during the original launch but hated it so much I refunded during the limited window for refunds. Even hated it so much I was never willing to try 4. 1, 2, LOD, 2R are the best. Haven't tried Hellfire yet. Don't have my old CDs anymore either but waiting for a GOG sale on 1 + Hellfire so I use the one-click Belzebub mod.

Their expensive cause their gate kept, I’ll just figure out a way for create a thread in ladder asking for those in ladder and play ladder only to make some midrunewords in some generic bases for those at my level. Seems that be specific enough to

Ward off this sort of attention. The only ladder only low roll runewords worth selling at a significant profit are perfect base close to or perfect roll.

The last part of your reply says it all. Low items still provide performance. But they have no market value. So most won’t even try to sell, so why would I look in the market for said items. Especially since the low level low rolled item provides no market value once ladder is over
