Description

Sigon's Sabot can be a robust source of Cold Resist at low levels. When used in conjunction with two other pieces of Sigon's Complete Steel, it can also provide a sizable +50% Better Chance to Find Magic Items, though it lags behind the combination of
Tancred's Weird +
Tancred's Hobnails for low-level magic-finding purposes.

While it has a potentially prohibitive Strength requirement, this can be mitigated somewhat by the +10 Strength found on
Sigon's Gage.

Because
War Boots are the most damaging Exceptional-quality boots, Sigon's Sabot is a reasonable candidate for
Recipe: Exceptional Version of Set Armor for Assassins intending to use kick skills such as
Dragon Talon in early Nightmare difficulty. When upgraded this way, the item will have a Strength requirement of 125 and a clvl requirement of 30.

Due to a display bug, set boots do not display kick damage even when being viewed by an assassin.
