I thought there was no limit to how many characters you can have in single player? Maybe this was added more recently though and I wasn't aware.

On single player you have unlimited slots (or not, but I have more than one hundred and still no problems so far).
Teeb was asking for online, where you have a 24 limit slots.
With a bit of jigsaw puzzle you can fit a Holy Grail on a single character.

I really wish online play had more character slots if offline has unlimited. Im always afraid that my mule characters somehow cause removal of my nonladder characters or something so I manually remove my garbage mules every season before it ends.

Hello again!
After 10 days, on 30th of July 2025 I found another item, Schaefer's Hammer.
The same Andariel has been kind enough to drop it on her terrorized happy hour.
Only 6 items remaining.

The list is shrinking
Today, on 22nd of September, 2025, the Knell Striker made it's appearance, leaving the list with only 5 items to fill.
The 'ol good terrorized Andy dropped it.

After two months from the last drop, the good 'ol Andariel gave me THE armor, Tyrael's Might. It was the 5th drop of a Sacred Armor, the first four beeing Templar's Might.
I was a very fruitful hour of Terror Zone in which I found this plus a Windforce, an Azurewrath, a Titan's Revenge, a Ravenlore, a Mara's Kaleidoscope and a lot of other stuff.
The armor came after just 5 minutes of runs and made the rest of the hour just a pleasant grind.
I played with my Javazon and a run took about 23 - 40 seconds.
Now I have to drop that F'ing Zod.

Congrats ! 4 to go, with two probably by gambling on low level char ?

Flo, can you post a chart of the timeline of your grail quest, with the occurrences of the respective items on it? I suppose the intervals get quite a bit longer over time...

edit: (Doesn't have to be which-item-was-when, more like "4 items on day 1, ... 1 item on day 19, ...")

Ho, ho, ho! Merry Christmas everyone!
Today I pun on the list Darkforce Spawn.
It was found by the last member of the D2R family, Khaleea, sister of Storm. You can view them here:

With her small magic farm number, 154, was the only one for that said list. She managed to find 381 items on her journey to level 99 but this one hasn't been found by others until now.
Duriel was terrorized and perhaps felt guilty for that occasion when he delivered only 4 TP scrolls and dropped hat ugly head.

Now I have to find that eluding Zod. If I manage to find it before the other two I might target farm them on Normal, as @Necrarch said earlier.
So close and yet too far.

I gamble for rings to try to get something better than I have but I didn't got any unique.
Even that I could find something, I wouldn't count it on the Holy Grail list.

I got Blinkbat's Form and Hotspur from Nightmare Andariel when farming for SoJ. I actually got 2 of each, and both hotspurs were ethereal LOL. Probably well over 1000 runs though.

If I'll get the Zod first, I'll probably do the same, farming Nightmare Andariel.

Might even be better to do Normal Andy, but not sure. I'd have to look at the drop calculator. I am pretty sure both of those items had worse odds to drop than SoJ on Nightmare Andy, but here I am lmao

It seems that Normal Andy can't drop the Blinkbat's Form, only Nightmare and Hell. If she's terrorized, then yes, she can drop it but with lower chances that the rest.
The best farming spot for it is Normal Cows with The Cow King pack.

As for Hotspur, the best place is in Normal, in Pit and the best monster is Coldcrow superunique (from the Cave). The second one is Cows.
But Andariel has good chances, too.

Have to say though that finishing your Grail with the Zod would be worth more style points.
