At some point I was interested in redoing my old Diablo 2 account (non-resurrected) in some way, and the best I can figure is secure trades. Is this something I could ask about/for in trade? Do people use this site for non-resurrected trading?

there is function that you can do but these days I havent see any old version trade. Most people already do d2r and it is kind of old already(meaning d2r).

I've been redoing an older PC, and it still connects and runs even with an older OS on bnet. It's for dx9 and older stuff, so that would be a fun way to offload d2r currency for something different.
TY for the thoughts on it.
There’s a filter for legacy (non-resurrected) in the trades section (under misc);
But… there’s literally 0 trade listings.
Might be easier to find someone to trade with on d2jsp. But you have to account for the realm separation of course, I dunno which realm has the largest player base these days.
I'm in CET (Central European Time), so that's UTC+1 normally and UTC+2 during DST.
My profile says Ladder, but I play bothLadder and Non-Ladder.
My profile says Softcore, but I play bothSoftcore and Hardcore.
My Holy Grail Tracker is for Offline Hardcore.
To be honest, why would anybody play the older version? the d2r has had much more improvements and things gotten better at many areas.
The only downside with d2r compared to the original is that it runs like chicken sh-t on crack. It has hard engine limits which, weirdly affect others more than the rest, there are hardware issues where the game operates better on some and not the rest.
But overall the d2r is better to play with than original. You can even use the original diablo 2 graphics in the game if wanted.

there is godly sigon you can play but no internet cd version, of course.
I think someone might find very old account and have a d2r account at the same time of course.
I am sure the trade will be very difficult in that world, that most people already migrate to new world and lots of issue.
I have that legacy old version too. but I dont even want to find it out in my desk and nor does want to install it even if I got some godly thing back to old days.
