Travincal - Do "normal" monster run away from you or run at you depending on the level difference?

Description

Travincal
- Do "normal" monster run away from you or run at you depending on the level difference?

Maybe it's just coincidence or my imagination... 🤔🤔

But it seems to me that the "normal" monsters in
Travincal
usually run away from me when the area is not Terrorized (when my level is higher), and run at me when the area is Terrorized (when my level is lower)....

As if they were running way when you're "stronger" than them... 🤔🤔

They runaway so that you will chase them into an ambush. :D

They run away if you have completed the last quest in Act 3.

When terrorized, they never run away.

I don't think it has something to do with your level, it seems to be that the Terror Zone overrides the quest effect.

Maybe someone with a level 97+ character can confirm this?

They run away after you destroy the Compelling Orb in
Travincal
. Killing
Mephisto
is not necessary.

Yes, TZ overrides the quest effect. And if I remember correctly, when TZs were on public test realm (“beta test”), initially it did not override the quest effect so the
Zakarum Zealot
enemies would flee even when TZ, but it was then hotfixed/patched before patch release.

I'm in CET (Central European Time), so that's UTC+1 normally and UTC+2 during DST.
My profile says Ladder, but I play both Ladder and Non-Ladder.
My profile says Softcore, but I play both Softcore and Hardcore.
My Holy Grail Tracker is for Offline Hardcore.

it's not your imagination... happened to me also few weeks ago in tz travnical that monsters did not attack and run away as in non tz. that might be some server problem or there is some other explanation.

enemies will randomly run away when low on HP. This will happen regardless if you’ve killed council or if it’s TZ or not. The difference is that if it’s not TZ and you’ve completed the kill the council quest, they will always run away, never charge at you.
