You're overlooking pvp. A good portion of the 2/20 amulets that go for $$$ are used in pvp. These builds are completely different from pvm and the FCR break points are harder to reach. Think jmod with 4x facets instead of Spirit, gg rare belts instead of

Arachnid Mesh.

Thanks for the reply. I was under the impression we are talking about pvm because Felsbestie tested it with Chaos runs.
I never did pvp but I know that there is often used completely different gear than in pvm.

I think it's a pretty decent amulet considering it hits all the right marks +2 skills, 20% FCR, a little boost to mana and 14 AR.

Indeed, I am not into pvp. I just want a 200 FCR Lightning Sorc for pvm with as much damage as possible.

I totally get what you are saying. Before going for 200 FCR I had 300ish MF and no issue with resistances. Now only

Gheed's still provides some MF (I will probably replace it by a Lightning Skiller, lol) and I had to buy expensive

Boots, faster cast rings and now that 2-20 sorc amulet with @Res to maintain maxed resistances (I am using Sunder Charm, makes it more complicated). I still need some @Res Charms (some with FHR to reach breakpoint 86, so again a little expensive) to replace two

Um Runes which are socketed in

Griffon's Eye and

I questioned my decision, because I saw a similar amulet which went for almost half the price .. but in the end it doesn't matter. So thanks, you are right, it is a decent amulet and I am happy to have it

To get back to the actual topic: Today I somehow found some etherial elite armors with no sockets. I put them into the cube and one with higher defense turned out well:

This is the most important line in your whole post D2 is great because it allows people to tweak their characters to fit their preferred play style.

They aren't 2/20 craftetd but in my opinion came with respectable rolls. What do you think?
